From June 1 to June 2, 2024, the XV Championship and championship of the Karate Federation Russian WKC version took place in Cheboksary, Chuvash Republic.
Athletes from 19 regions of Russia and 2 friendly countries took part in this tournament: the Republic of Belarus and Uzbekistan — the country that will host the next XV World Championship among cadets, juniors, adults, veterans and the XV World Cup for children in karate WKC.
The event was attended by distinguished guests such as:

Andrey Yakovlevich Vilkin — Vice President of the World Karate Confederation WKC/FW (Republic of Belarus)

The competitions were held in a friendly atmosphere. Athletes competed for the title of WKC Champion of Russia in the following disciplines:
— Individual and team kata
— Individual and team kumite

⁃ Kobudo
Athletes who won 1st to 4th places entered the children’s, youth, junior and adult teams of the Russian national karate team WKC and will be able to participate in the XV World Championship for cadets, juniors, seniors, veterans and the XV World Cup for children in karate WKC which will be held from November 2 to 6, 2024 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
